Laura Mvula & Keane Films Showing at Glastonbury 2015
MusicScreen can confirm that its productions ‘The Best of Keane - Live from Berlin’ and ‘Laura Mvula with the Metropole Orkest’ will be screening in the Pilton Palais Cinema Marquee at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
MusicScreen captured Laura Mvula and the 52 piece Metropole at the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam in November 2014 as they performed the acclaimed album ’Sing to the Moon’ to a packed house. Possibly a first for a full size orchestral concert to be screened at Glastonbury and the launch of a new genre ‘Orchestral Soul’. David Pope, CEO of MusicScreen; “This is a beautiful production, like every good movie, it suspends reality and transports you to another place, it’s music for the soul.”

Keane were recorded by MusicScreen in November 2013 as they played a special gig in Berlin’s iconic Goya Theatre.

The Keane film is showing at 16.00hrs on Wednesday 24 June and Laura Mvula at 17.15hrs on Thursday 25 June.
